With an initial focus on First Nation Youth in a small First Nation community in Quebec, Rising Stars progressively expanded through facilitating summer camps in a growing number of far-north First Nations and Inuit communities. Over the many years since then, the organization has evolved into a comprehensive collection of camps, clinics, workshops, advanced performance and athlete identification programs, and expanded into a growing number of communities throughout the greater Toronto region. To date, countless innovative initiatives have been planned and developed in collaboration with a growing list of partnering schools, boards, and First Nation communities.
