Over a 40-year career, Dr. Paul Jurbala has led provincial and national sport organizations and, for the past 20 years, has served as Principal of communityactive, his consulting firm specializing in sport and recreation. He has helped nearly 50 Canadian organizations develop long-term athlete development models, coach education programs, strategic plans, and organizational policies. Paul holds a Ph.D. from Brock University, where his research examined how community sport organizations adopt innovation and adapt to change. He has taught Sport Management at Brock University, York University, and Humber College.
